Hi, there...I'm Michele! I know that might be confusing, my name is not actually Lily! I chose the name Lily Photography for a few reasons that I thought I would share with you all.

My maiden name is Lilley and there is a lot of creative influence that comes from my family, I think it's in the genes! They inspire and motivate me to follow my dreams so I thought they deserve a special place in my business, the name.

The lily is my favorite flower. Growing up we had tiger lilies that surrounded our outdoor patio.. They bloomed every year around my birthday and it was always so beautiful and fragrant. That's a memory from my childhood home that I will always cherish and am reminded of when I see or smell lilies! 

Lilies represent rebirth and hope. Starting my photography business was a fresh start in my life. It has provided an opportunity to express myself creatively, contribute to my family while still having the flexibility to raise my 2 boys, and document my own family as we grow and live life. I have always had a passion for photography and I am so grateful to be able to share that passion with other families to help create memories of their lives, too.
