What locations do you use for photo sessions?
I just love photo sessions on the beach. There is something so organic and beautiful about the beach and you just never know exactly what conditions you will be working with but it is always so pretty.
We can also take pictures with more of a woodsy, greenery scene either in a park or field.
Another option is to have a session in the comfort of your own home documenting your every day life.
We can chat about your preferences and figure out the best location for YOUR family :)
How long will it take to get my photos?
You will receive your complete digital gallery of high resolution images sent to your email in 3 weeks. I will send you a text as soon as your gallery is delivered!
Any general tips for our session?
Be yourself, go with the flow, and have fun!!
Once you book your session, I will send you a copy of my Family Session Guide with all kinds of tips and tricks to set you up for a fun session!
I am available via a phone call, text, or email for any other questions you may have.
What gear do you use?
I shoot with the full frame Canon R6 mirrorless body.
I mostly use my Canon RF 24-70mm/ f2.8 for outdoor sessions, this lens is fast which helps capture the kiddos that are running and playing :) The versatility of the zoom is also great for getting beautiful portraits and shots of the whole scene.
I also use the Tamron 35mm/ f1.4 which is great for indoors and low light.
I have an on camera flash for events and use indoors when needed.
What should I wear?
These pictures are meant to represent you so just remember to be you and wear what makes you feel comfortable.
It helps if the colors you each wear complement each other rather than all matching.
Neutral colors look gorgeous and effortless on camera (Blues, creams, blush pink, grey, brown/khaki all work with each other) Using a pop of color to tie all the outfits together will help them flow well and lots of textures and layers help add dimension and visual interest.
What if I need to reschedule?
I completely understand that life happens, kids get sick, plans change. You can reschedule your session up to 72 hours prior to the date. Your deposit will be applied to the new session date. The session will just need to be booked within the same calendar year.
Am I able to print my photos?
YES! I definitely recommend printing your images and/or making an album so you can look back on your pictures for years to come and pass them along to your children.
You will receive full resolution, digital images with no watermarks or printing restrictions.
You can order prints, wall art, and albums directly from your gallery which will come from professional photo labs of the highest quality.
